Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at his residence at Nithview Community LTC, New Hamburg.
Survived by his wife, Wanda Gingerich (nee Gingrich) and his children, Dale (Rhoda), Larry (Barbara Van Grootheest), Karen (predeceased) (Bill Miller), and Darcy (Michelle). He will be dearly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sister, Nelda Horst; brother, Nathan Gingerich (Marlene); sister-in-law, Edith Gingerich; brother-in-law, Charles Hadland; and former daughter-in-law, Karen Edmonds.
Predeceased by his Brothers Neil and Newton (Grace) Gingerich, his sisters Norma Ramer (Jonas), Norraine Hadland, Naomi Bellideau (Victor), and his brother-in-law Doug Horst. He was also predeceased by his granddaughters Katherine and Carley Gingerich.
Visitation will take place at the Wilmot Mennonite Church, 2995 Bleams Road, New Hamburg, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., followed by the interment at Wilmot Mennonite Church Cemetery. All are welcome to stay for the reception, enjoy light refreshments, and visit with the family.
